Banchan

Small, diverse side dishes essential to Korean cuisine. Served shared in an assortment, they complement mains. Refillable as many times includes kimchi, seasoned veggies, pan-fried items, and more. Balances flavors & textures in every Korean meal.

Jabchae

Korean stir-fried glass noodles (dangmyeon) with colorful veggies like spinach, carrots, mushrooms & beef, in a savory-sweet soy-sesame sauce. Celebratory, flavorful, and delightfully chewy.

Stir-Fried Tofu & Vegetables

A vibrant, healthy, and protein-rich vegetarian main dish, or as an addition to other main dishes. Crisp-tender vegetables & tofu cubes stir-fried quickly. Coated in savory soybean paste sauce.

Beef Tartare (Yukhoe)

Korean raw beef dish. Thinly sliced premium beef sirloin, seasoned with soy sauce, sesame seeds, sesame oil. Served with crackers or julienned Asian pear if season is right. Served chilled. A classic, delicate appetizer.

MUN Stew (Jjigae)

Our signature best of both world’s jjigae featuring fermented soybean paste as its base. Savory, umami-rich broth simmered with tofu, vegetables and meat. A staple comfort food, served bubbling hot. Nutritious and deeply flavorful.

I recently visited and had their Samgyeopsal, and while the food was excellent, the atmosphere at the outdoor tables was absolutely outstanding. The Samgyeopsal was delicious, with good quality meat perfectly grilled, offering a burst of juicy flavor in every bite. While the food itself was satisfying, I believe Mun Patio's true charm lies in the dining experience you get outdoors. It was a comfortable yet enjoyable meal. It would be perfect for gatherings with friends or a date night. The service was also impeccable. The staff were friendly and attentive to the customers, and it was impressive how they consistently checked if we needed anything, even with us being at an outdoor table. This truly made the time spent there even more pleasant. With delicious Samgyeopsal, a wonderful outdoor ambiance, and excellent service, Mun Patio is definitely a must-visit restaurant in LA. Instead of wrapping pork belly in kimchi like usual, they flipped it—the pork belly is thin enough to wrap around the pa-kimchi, making each bite so flavorful and unique! And the fried rice with pa-kimchi? HIGHLY recommended! 🍜 DIY Korean-Style Ramen – I made Jjapagetti ramen, which was not only fun to customize but also paired SO well with the pa-kimchi (a classic Korean combo!).
